i ordered some end tables and a coffee table from these guys...they delivered as scheduled and i was told if you dont want it you can cancel it within 24 hrs, the wife and i talked about it and thought it looked really cheap. Both end tables werent flat on the ground so they would wobble if you put your hand on it. We were told it was real would, you could see that is was not...so now i just called ashley furniture i told them about the whole ordeal and that i would like to cancel my order, he then told me well it will be a 10% of the whole order and a 79 dollar pickup fee. I asked him if he could make an exception and waive this to keep me happy and i will shop with them again, He in turn told me that he cannont waive the fee. So I told him i will pay the whole 170$ for nothing, and you will lose me and the people i speak with forever. We have since gone to Havertys and are going to stick with them, they do what they say they are going to do. Its unfortunate that a company that makes millions every year cannot waive a 170 fee for someone if there not happy with the product to keep them happy within a 24 hr period. (i also asked them if its ok if i delivered it to them as well, ofcourse i got a no.) GoodBye Ashley Furniture!
I was looking for furniture and overheard an employee being incredibly rude to another customer. He was simply asking a question regarding delivery and pick up. Employee seemed to get flustered right away and started raising his voice at him. Seems like these guys need a dummy course on customer service!!
All the living room suits seemed to fall in the same line of design and the colors were limited in Choices. I did not feel the quality was what I was looking for.
I will never shop here again. I purchased a nice leather couch. However turns out It was faux leather and is falling apart a few weeks after purchasing.
Mason the sales manager is the guy to see! Very helpful with our purchase! He went above and beyond to make sure we are getting what we wanted and are pleased with it and explained what we could do if we weren't. We came in within an hour of closing both times and he wasn't hesitant to leave or was he in any way pushy! Mason and my husband were moving furniture around to make sure we liked the layout and what we already had purchased years ago would match what we were buying. We just closed on our house and was also trying to figure out how much room we would have with our sectional being able to recline etc. He was more than helpful, very friendly, and honest. This is why we will keep purchasing from Ashley Furniture in Spartanburg! Thank you Mason!
