I have only been here a couple of times, but I was recently watching an episode of Forensic Files on a case that happened in Spartanburg, SC. In this very park. Fredrick Evins murdered Damaris Huff on September 14, 2002. He also killed one other lady. I just thought it was crazy that something like that had happened so close to home. She was found only four minutes from her house.
Great spot to watch a baseball game. The history of this stadium makes it even better.
Nice park with multiple baseball fields and historic American legion ties.. very big park in a type of development.. a couple of parking areas but the availability of the restrooms depend on events held at Park
I like going here to meet new friends.
Really pretty park. Bike trails are a different story. Maps are misleading and unclear. Lots of trails through the woods that aren't on the map. Stick to croft passage if you're looking for good mtb trails.
