They have a wonderful Winter Coat Program for children that they have had in November as long as my kids were of school age. The program has provided both my son and daughter with a NEW, WARM, GOOD QUALITY and NICE LOOKING winter coat every year. The kids are always VERY HAPPY to receive them and they usually have a few to choose from. I am disabled and my income is very limited, I know that I would not be able to buy my children the quality of Coats that they have received over the past few years from First Presbyterian Church. We are very thankful.
A beautiful property for walking, meditating, photography, and the people and services are formal and reverent. You will be greeted by warm smiles, but the general atmosphere is a presumption that everyone is content with small talk - you will have to work at forming friendships if you are new. This is a great place to attend a Christmas event, and the weekly evening dinners are fun and tasty. Overall this is a classic southern historical place of worship that appeals to a small town.
