This particular 9 Round is run by a shady man. My wife was told she could cancel her membership anytime and when she needed to do so, they stated that she'd owe half of balance. They gave her a cancellation form that stated she'd owe $147. She didn't sign and after reviewing their website's cancellation fee stating that none is required, I went up to the facility and requested a copy of the initial contract. I was told the owner would call me back. Two days later, no call but a charge of $236 on my credit card. I went to the facility again and requested a copy of both the initial contract and cancellation contract. The initial does not state any required fee and the unsigned cancellation has the number $147 crossed out and $236 written in its place. Be wary of the deceptive practices of this location.

Looking for an AWESOME place to get in shape? Then I suggest NOT to go to the new little kickboxing fitness place in Hillcrest (beside Pizza Inn) Wanna know why? For convenience, I went in to ask them could they spare 5 mins for me to do a quick breathing treatment (because of my asthma) and they sarcastically told me that they were about to close (of which I went in just after 7 and the sign says they dont close till 8 )and to go to pizza inn... (The place i was about to go eat but wanted to avoid myself the staring people that would of course stare me down in pizza inn while I have to sit at a table and take my medicine in front of everyone... Grrrrr... So fitness place that supposedly cares about people's health... Hopefully will be shut down before too long.... Sorry business ppl.... Smh...... If I could give this place no stars, this rating would be more accurate!
