Breakfast was better than other budget options- self made waffles, baked eggs and sausage, plus cheap muffins and cinnamon swirls. Coffee was acceptable at best.
Staff was mostly very nice. All were great but the one who checked me in. I arrived early, she said I had to wait until 3. I asked can I come back a little early? She said no, curtly. I came back 15min early intending to wait in lobby. I found her checking someone else in, and a second, done, walking away. That front desk women was just barely courteous to boot.
Good experience, but still needs to continue remodel to give a complete remodel, to include matresses on beds. Remodel crew needs to come back, and redo quality of their showmanship. Remodel up close details gives a hurried remodel appearance. Good Price, average amenities, & Safe.
Stayed here for a few nights. The room that I was in had quite a few red stains on the carpet. There was also quite a few large places in the carpet where they had done cheap patches instead of replacing the carpet. There was a strange smell in the room. The breakfast was decent. The only reason they didn't get 2 stars was that the internet saw surprisingly fast. There's a reason this hotel is cheap.
What a horrible place! Tiniest rooms, extremely stinky carpets, nothing works. There is no ramp by the front entrance for the luggage cart. Breakfast is disgusting and nothing gets restocked, so they're always out of everything. They just put out previous day's food until its all gone. Coffee tastes like sludge. I had to go out for breakfast to Denny's across the street... Staff are never at the front desk, always wandering around somewhere or out smoking and nobody seems to know anything about anything. Spend an extra 10 dollars and stay somewhere incomparably better.
Basic simple hotel. Budget. Simple furniture, lacking drawers. Small bathroom area. Clean rooms but showing wear. Nice comfy beds. Hotel was being remodeled outside, so should look better soon.
By far the worst Sleep Inn or Choice Hotels experience of my life. Rude, inattentive staff. Dirty. Our Non-Smoking room had been smoked in. Heavily. Staff did not care. The sliding door to our bathroom was broken - totally, the rollers were even missing from the track. The front desk lady actually told us at checkout "don't come back here - this is the most ratchet hotel in Spartanburg!" Stay. Away.
