It's nice during the day mostly. It's went under a lot of construction and nicely updated. During the night some shady characters walking around. Wouldn't suggest being there alone or leaving your vehicle there late. Or leaving your vehicle over night. Even with a security system or good old fashioned door locks. The park gets locked down at night after a certain time (hint). During the day you should have a nice time at night is another matter.
Great park! We stopped as a pit stop in the way to the beach and the kids had a great time. New playground equipment, areas for big and little kids, shaded areas for a picnic lunch, and clean. Would definitely visit again!
There are a lot of options for all ages; the park is well landscaped and recently (2015) renovated - see my photo during the renovation. Playgrounds are frequently active and a fun time on weekday afternoons and weekends.
This park is the hidden Gem of Spartanburg!! It is a beautiful place to take all members of your family of ALL ages! There is just so much to do here from the massive playground to feeding the darling ducks and their babies and there are still babies into late November. The grounds are absolutely beautiful to walk around with gorgeous trees, wooded areas, perfectly thought out landscaping, and the beautiful community house. My words can't describe the magic of this place, don't miss out on the opportunity to visit!!!
Great place to take kids & Great place to take pictures. Only downside is the playground closes at 530! When the whole playground is lit up! Loved the geese tho!!
