Dr. Kunze has always handled my dogs with care and compassion. I'm happy to have her as my vet!

Our little teacup poodle "Snickers" needed surgery a few weeks ago and I am so glad we chose Dr. Kunze. She gave us all the info we needed before and after the procedure and was very reasonable with the charges. She's recovered completely and has the same energy and playfulness she had five years ago. Everyone in the front are friendly and polite. My biggest concern is what happens in the kennel area. Went to pick my two boys up and noticed the grooming has a lot to desire. They both had loose hair flying every where and my smaller dog was bleeding pretty bad due to someone clipping his claw too the quick. More care should be given in this area.
Dr. Kunze really seemed to care about my fur babies health and wellness... until I got told the bill for service. $80 for my two pups to just get weighed and a stethoscope put to their chest. She also told me about some healthier food choices, which I already knew as a lifetime dog owner. Telling me my seven year old dog has bad eyesight for his age and not even checking with a light to see his retinas, was very misleading and inaccurate. Then, telling me his teeth lack major cleaning and he’ll need laser type removal soon was just medically wrong. I have gotten a few other vets opions now and for HALF THE PRICE for BOTH dogs. Not to mention the cusing was very unprofessional and definitely not needed to get your point across. I really do think this place has potential, but it will need more than just smiles and friendly staff. I took my pups to The Ark Animal Clinic instead and they only charged $35 for BOTH dog exams. They also discovered a flea allergy on my one dog as to why he was scratching and biting his skin, NOT unhealthy eating... his eyes are progressing a little faster for his age but still in perfect condition, and his teeth need no major lazer cleaning, nor are they rotting. Very normal dental hygiene for that age dog. I feel like Dr. Kunze just said those things to get more money from me in the future. I definitely DO NOT recommend going here if at all possible.

The people here are superb; I can't speak higher. We were nervous going in, but everyone there was so kind and the facility was clean.
