Our daughter is attending university in Spartanburg and has her car at school with her. She brought the car to SC from Canada where we live.
The car was having brake issues and she brought it to 2 different places prior to going to Midas. The first two locations she went to told her that her brake lines were rusted beyond repair and that it was going to be unfixable or very expensive.

Living in Canada where we salt the roads in the winter rusted brake lines are very common and brake line replacements are are not uncommon and are not all that expensive.
My wife and I have been coming to this Midas for more than 5 years. Basically since the owner/operator David started operations. He has always been more than fair. Often times (like today), David did free diagnose of a problem without charge. He researched the problem for me and found a factory recall. David directed me on how to get it fixed.

I asked about replacing my old tires with same. He offered a good deal and he also research and found a much less expensive brand. David searched for reviews and found these appeared to be a great quality, low price tire. So basically, David and his guys really care about helping the customer while also offering great prices.
As parents living so far from her it was a great relief to hear that she finally found a place that was willing to treat her well.
Very welcoming and knowledgeable staff. They are extremely helpful with making sure you understand the details of what your visit entails and will inform you of any problems, if any, they find in their inspection. They give you a written estimate and never have I seen them pressure anyone about getting the repairs done then.

Excellent shop. Worth driving across town for. Clean, organized, and well-run. And over a couple of years I have noticed very little turnover - it's a good sign when auto techs choose to stay with a place.
Today she went to the Spartanburg Midas and was very happy with the way she was treated. They provided her with a quote and said they could fix her car.

After being told by others her car was unfixable or would cost hundreds of dollars the Midas team quoted her $ 209 which seems very fair . She is on a student's budget and having somone treat her well and offer affordable service means a great deal.

I've taken 2 separate work-mates there for service in the past couple of weeks, and they are very happy with the service and speed with which they performed the work.
