I went in for an oil change according to the little sticker they place on your windshield. No one greeted us when we got there. Waited at least 10 mins before anyone helped us. When someone finally did, he didn’t bother to look up my info in the system or asked for my name. I told him I needed an oil change. He seriously peeked inside my car to see the mileage. My miles were set on Trip B. I had the lights on, so seeing the mileage was difficult during the day. This guy lied about my mileage. He had no clue what my mileage was. He was too lazy to look up my info. He told me all the info about changing oil every 10,000 miles, which I knew already. I stood there arguing with him that I NEED an oil change. He assured me that I didn’t need an oil change just a tire rotation with an attitude like I was bothering him or something. He walks away after I said I didn’t want what he was offering. I asked another lady to pull up my info and guess what, I NEED AN OIL CHANGE!!!!!!! He never apologized for his behavior. Very rude customer service! Honestly, I felt like he was a little racist.

I had a horrible experience here. I went in to change the oil and rotate the tires on my rav 4. While it was being serviced I began looking at the cars on display. A salesman began showing them to us and after a while wanted to know which car we were interested in. He kept insisting for details like how much we could put down now and then asked me to sign a paper. I read the paper and it was authorizing Toyota to debit my account $5,000 as down payment and to continue charging me a monthly fee! I kindly declined, got my car and left.

I have never seen a dealership take a 500 deposit for a vehicle they say they can get. They actually ran my card without checking to see if the car was available. This was on Saturday at 1pm. They call me Monday at 4 to tell me the car is not available, and tell me they can’t find another one, they offer me a 2018 for 1000 dollars more, but of course I refused. So I am still waiting on the refund of my deposit that still has not made it back to my account. I call Ralph Hayes in Anderson, and they did it the right way they took my card number and won’t even run my card unless we don’t show up this Saturday to look at the car they ordered. Never again will I step foot in Dave Edwards, nor will the people in my family.

A few weeks later I noticed that my front tires were worn down to the nylon. They were unusable! Dave Edwards Toyota had not aligned my tires appropriately. I went back and asked them why this had happened since I had paid for an alignment. They were very rude and told me to forget the past and change my tires.

I said that I was not happy with the service they gave me to which they replied that they care less about what people think since they already have more business than they can handle.

Had an excellent car buying experience at Dave Edwards Toyota. I drove over 3 hours to get here based on their pricing and customer service. Special thanks to my sales associate, Jason K, for making this an easy decision and painless experience.

Even though we used a 3rd party broker, this was without doubt the best car buying experience we have ever had. Notwithstanding the excellent deal we got both on our trade and new purchase, there was never any 'hard sell' tactics, no bait and switch and none of the usual mind games you tend to get with car dealers. It is evident from both our own experiences and reading other customer reviews that the Dave Edwards philosophy is based on professionalism, integrity and earning the trust of their customers. Tony Jackson our sales person was the complete antithesis of the stereotypical car salesman, quite outstanding and a joy to do business with. John David Ledbetter, the business manager, also deserves special mention. His job, besides the paperwork, is to sell additional products and services (he wouldn't be doing his job if he didn't) but again, not once did we feel pressured. Moreover, John David also worked to get us a better finance deal than the advertised rates. It's very rare that we write reviews, and generally only if the service we have received is outstanding or abhorrent. In this case it's most definitely the former. Would have no hesitation in recommending Dave Edwards to anyone looking to purchase a car.

That explained everything. I have now been using Toyota of Greer which treats me like a person and everyone acts professionally.
