I recently went looking for a 2017 white Dodge Charger with black leather interior for my wife, hoping to get a good end of the year discounted deal through my local dealership in Sumter at Sumter Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. They located one at the Spartanburg dealership and quoted me a price $1600.00 more than the Spartanburg dealership had the vehicle online for (unknown to me at the time). So we settled on the price and trade in value and I filled out all financing paperwork and was told the vehicle would be picked up Saturday and cleaned ready for me late Saturday, early Monday morning in Sumter. So Saturday afternoon while out running errands I swung by the Sumter dodge dealership to look at my new purchase and was told the vehicle wasn’t there and was going to be picked up first thing Monday morning.
I needed new rotors and pads for my Challenger. I asked Barrett Haben and he found the correct part numbers and ordered the parts. They arrived quickly and the price was right!!
I found Spartanburg dodge to be very professional and what a car dealer is expected to be. They had a vast selection of vehicles to choose from and the cheapest around. Amanda made the process seamless and ensured the vehicle was fully detailed and full of gas by the time I arrived. While I was signing the financial paperwork they transferred my tags from my trade in to my new Dodge Charger and then offered to pair my cell phone and give me a complete walk through on all of the new vehicles features.

That is when I went home and did a vehicle VIN search online and found that the vehicle was at Spartanburg Chrysler Dodge Jeep and that I had paid way too much for it. So Monday after no phone calls from the Sumter dodge dealership around noon I called Spartanburg dodge asking if my vehicle had been picked up. To my surprise it was still sitting at the dealership in Spartanburg. At that point Amanda and I discussed how much I over paid for the vehicle and the fact that I hadn’t taken delivery I decided to drive the 134 miles from Sumter to Spartanburg to save $1600.00’s. Spartanburg dodge also honored the same trade in value that the Sumter dealership offered me on my trade in.
It’s good to see an honest business that cares about the customer and earns the return business. Needless to say we’ll be making the 134 mile drive from Sumter, SC when it’s time to trade.
We had two issues with our Challenger and Barrett Haben helped us with both; we needed a new fog light and front air dam and the right rear taillight was crooked. We contacted Barrett and he ordered the correct pats we needed and he fixed our taillight issue and it looks GREAT! Thank you for the awesome service!!
