Our first time trying out Captain D's. It wasn't what I expected. Kind of a cross between a fast food place and a sit down and be served restaurant. You do order at the counter but then you sit down and they bring your order to the table. Now I don't know if they do this on a regular basis , maybe we just got there at a good time.
The restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated. Will definitely be going back to give it another try.

The worst Captain Ds. If I’m gonna wait well over 20 minutes for a 1 person to go order you’d hope it was good, right? Wrong it was the worst I’ve ever had at a Captain Ds. Oh and do you think I had to go back because they even forgot part of my order? You guessed it, I sure did.
The food was good I won't say the best but it's well worth what you pay. It was hot, fresh and the portions were a good size. My only complaint with my order was the catfish filet they advertised on the menu didn't really look the same on my plate. More like a tender than a whole filet. I will say the hushpuppies were very good. Not dried out and tasteless like most "fast food" places.
You will have to wait as everything is cooked to order. The staff is never rude and its clean inside. Worth my wait.
