The food is always predictable and good, it's a great place to go for breakfast. The service is hit and miss, really depends on who you get as a server. If you're coming here on the weekend, make sure to be early. It gets really crowded very quickly.
Note: Always bring a sweater because its alway cold. To the point of cooling off your meal to quickly.
Worst cracker barrel experience ever! One plate was lukewarm at best, the other was cold. Server seemed to have a attitude and didn't even ask if everything was ok until she brought the check.
Cracker Barrel used to be a great place to eat. But for the last few times we have been there it's been less than desirable. Tonight the food was cold half cooked the pinto beans we're not done hard as a rock. Cut it down better by opening a can of pinto beans and Bi-Lo and putting the cigarette lighter underneath them in warm them. The chicken and dumplings was like a rubber duckie and a bowl of soup and dough that had been hard as a rock. Guess I'll do my own cooking from now on. Yet they charge you more that's worth.
Food was delicious, waiter was really nice, we had to wait a while because it was Sunday yet while we were waiting they served samples of their special for that day which was also delicious. we had fun while we waited in their little shop. The only problem was that they need a larger area because there were so many people there
Most of the times, the food is good. Today it could have been better. You could tell the food had been sitting around for a while.
